Bassist & Bass Techniques Magazine
UK
Vol. 1 No. 13
December, 1995
42
Bassist magazine was launched in early 1995. It was originally named Bassist and Bass Techniques magazine; it kept this name through the end of 1997, with the name being permanently shortened in January of 1998.
This issue includes an ad showing Doug Wimbish and his custom Warwick 12-string bass.
Two issues from 1995 included single-column ads for SWR Engineering that show Jeff Ament of Pearl Jam and his Hamer “Ament” B12A 12-string bass. This is a cropped version of the same photo that appeared in full-page SWR ads in Bass Player magazine in 1993 and 1994.
