Enuff Z’Nuff - Suck It And See

This 2-disc DVD compilation of the band Enuff Z’Nuff includes music videos, interviews, appearances on television shows, and live performances. Bassist Chip Z’Nuff is shown playing three different Hamer 12-string basses.

This bass was used in the music videos for the songs “Mother’s Eyes” and “Baby Loves You”. The graphics were custom painted by Hamer Guitars. The production model 12-string Chaparral bass was not introduced until 1992 so for this bass a Chaparral guitar body was used. The guitar version does not have the scallops on the body that are found on the bass body. There are boomerang inlays at every position. The headstock is a custom shape that was used on only a few 8-string and 12-string basses.

The Hamer Steve Stevens model 12-string bass makes an appearance in the live performance video for the song ‘She Wants More’. This bass was later almost fully covered by various stickers.

Chip played his Transparent Green Hamer B12L 12-string bass during the bonus ‘Live at Nottingham’ concert from 2003.
