DR 12-String Bass Strings

DR does not offer a set of strings for the 12-string bass in their regular product lines, but they will put together custom sets for guitar companies and endorsing artists.

Musicvox 12-string bass strings

Musicvox Guitars began offering 12-string bass string sets in 2016 from the Hi-Beams Lites bright stainless steel series. They are handmade in the USA and are long 34” scale.

Custom 12-string bass strings

Several of these Lo-Rider stainless steel string sets were provided to bassist Dionisio Mauro for use on his Musicvox MI-5 12-string bass.
